Sunday haiku

I have very little practice writing haiku.  No time like the present to get started!

Never heard of this kind of poem writing. But it seems easy enough?? But what do I know...Ha! I like this one.

Ginny - Here is a definition of haiku that I found on about.com: "Haiku is an unrhymed, syllabic form adapted from the Japanese: three lines of 5, 7 and 5 syllables. Because it is so brief, a haiku is necessarily imagistic, concrete and pithy, capturing a single moment in a very few words." It seems easy, but getting the syllables to work out can be a little tough. Glad you liked this one!
